T-Link has announced a partnership with SpaceX’s Starlink, offering iPhone users access to its satellite service at no cost until July. This collaboration brings advanced connectivity to mobile users, ensuring coverage even in remote areas.
How Starlink’s Satellite Service Works
The new service operates using satellites that fly 200 miles above Earth. Unlike traditional cell towers, these satellites provide uninterrupted connectivity in areas with weak or no signal.
Currently, the feature supports text messaging. In the coming months, users will be able to browse the internet, send pictures, and make calls—all directly through Starlink.
Seamless Switching and Emergency Alerts
iPhone users do not need extra hardware or special settings to use the service. When a regular network is unavailable, the device automatically switches to Starlink. This ensures a smooth experience without interruptions.
Additionally, Starlink supports Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEAs). Whether users are hiking in remote locations or facing extreme weather, they will continue receiving critical safety notifications.
